Amari Shields has been an educator in the Houston area for the last decade. She has taught every subject, but her classroom experience mostly revolved around upper elementary and middle school science instruction. After earning her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy Studies, she began to have an interest in cross-curricular lessons and student motivation. She currently works as a Curriculum Instructional Specialist in Sheldon ISD and enjoys helping teachers widen their impact.
