Katie Ayers is a 6th year teacher at Hoover Elementary in Cy-Fair ISD. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2017 where she studied Elementary education with a focus in early childhood thru grade 6. After graduating, she helped open Hoover Elementary by teaching 2nd grade math and science. She has experience teaching Special Education, Bilingual, ESL and GT students. She currently serve on the PBIS committee as the team lead and has previously served on the No Place For Hate committee. She is currently enrolled in the American College of Education pursuing a Masters in Educational Leadership. She is certifed as a Blended Learning Trainer and works with teachers to launch blended learning in their classroom. Katie was announced the 2018 School Specialty Elementary Teacher of the Year. Katie grew up in the Cy-Fair area and comes from a long line of educators. She values the importance of an educator and quality educational programs such as Edpuzzle.
